Human Chain at Dhanmondi 4/A, demanding the punishment of rapists, a joint movement by WBB and UAP

A human chain was jointly organized by WBB and UAP against rape and violence against women, the movement demanded the trial of the rapists. WBB activists gathered at Dhanmondi 4/A road at 10:30 AM in the morning. Officials, students and workers of UAP joined the human chain with WBB activists side by side protesting rape and violence against women. The participants of WBB and administrative authority of UAP provided with festoon and other materials. Gradually more conscious people and even passersby joined the human chain which was really amazing! Despite the severe cold the participants stood three for more than half an hour.

Awareness among people would help fight against the rapists, actions like this are needed on urgent basis and all should participate voluntarily.
